This stunning residence is a testament to the tasteful integration of glass, metalwork and design. AGNORA, in partnership with M. Cohen and Sons, fabricated and installed a variety of glass components, but all eyes are on the centrepiece stairway.
This extravagant assembly is constructed of x2-10mm pieces of Pilkington Optiwhite joined into a structural component with Trosifol & SentryGlas (Kuraray) SentryGlas. Holes and notches were expertly machined and perfectly aligned to connect the treads and custom metalwork fittings that are held in suspension.
The exposed edges are a prime example of AGNORA’s Perfect Align Polish, in which all laminated edges are mirror polished without post-temper processing, ensuring optimum strength and integrity for each and every structural component.
