Beautiful glass makes the space without being seen.
AGNORA fabricates the largest glass in North America at 130″ x 300″ (3.3 x 7.6m) up to 4″ (100mm) thick.
AGNORA is home to one of the largest Insulated Glass Unit (IGU / custom widows) lines in North America able to assemble lites up to 130″ x 300″ and from 1/2″ to 3 1/2″ thick (3.3 x 7.6m and 12 to 90mm). Our commitment to quality runs deep, taking the extra time to bend spacers, rather than cut, and measure anisotropy and visual defects through our SoftSolutions in-line scanner. The end result: You receive glass that is flawless, clear, and sealed.

LAMINATION
AGNORA operates the largest lamination line in North America with the ability to combine glass lites totaling 130″ x 300″ and up to 1/4″ to 3 5/32″ thick (3.3 x 7.6m x 6 to 80mm). As an industry leader in precision alignment, we retain an impressive skillset that harnesses knowledge, patience, and precision to perform these complex procedures. AGNORA’s lamination line hosts a wide array of structural, colour and custom laminates to satisfy any project requirement and our commitment to continual improvement means we use the best nip and autoclave processes for a pristine finish.
EDGEWORK & POLISHING
AGNORA employs the most sophisticated and precise Intermac CNC’s on the market and is home to the largest single edge polisher in the world (polishing up to 4”/100mm thick). We provide CNC fabrication, polishing, and edging capabilities across a wide range of applications. Experienced CNC operators create brilliant works that include custom shapes for art exhibits, staircases, windows, and skylights.

DIGITAL PRINTING & PAINTING
AGNORA’s leading-edge Dip-Tech NeraD ceramic printer provides incredible imaging possibilities for high-quality architectural glass applications. From printing custom artwork to bird-friendly frit to entire building murals, AGNORA provides a perfectly implemented, permanent, and striking oversize (up to 130″ x 300” / 3.3 x 7.6m) custom digital print solution. Home to North and South America’s largest ceramic printer our highly skilled digital print technicians have over 80 years of combined print industry experience to help guide our customers through the creative process with ease.
AGNORA can also apply ceramic ink and Opacicoat through its traditional wide roll coater.
TEMPERING & HEAT TREATMENT
For increased safety and strength, our tempered and heat strengthened glass offers greater resistance to thermal and mechanical stresses. Using high-quality optical in-line scanning equipment, AGNORA’s anisotropy scanner, and the ASTM C1901 standard for measurement, AGNORA perfects its process to balance optical clarity and anisotropy for each glass type. This continual optimization is applied across coated, uncoated, and printed glass, yielding the absolute best-in-class clarity.

HEAT SOAK TESTING
Spontaneous breakage of tempered glass is the result of Nickel Sulfide (NiS) expansion. NiS inclusions are small particles that are formed in the manufacturing process of glass from the interaction of the firing agent and surrounding metallic surfaces. Heat Soak Testing is a cheap, effective insurance policy that helps to ensure that glass breakage from this phenomenon does not occur in the field. The process reduces the downtime and additional cost associated with labour, logistics, installing, and managing broken lites.
