Custom Glass Stairway Residence
This stunning residence is a testament to the tasteful integration of glass, metalwork and design. AGNORA, in partnership with M. Cohen and Sons, fabricated and installed a variety of glass components, but all eyes are on the centrepiece stairway connecting three floors of the residence in spectacular fashion.
Structural Glass in Custom Homes!
This extravagant assembly is constructed of x2-10mm pieces of Pilkington Optiwhite joined into a structural component with Trosifol & SentryGlas (Kuraray) SentryGlas. Holes and notches were expertly machined and perfectly aligned to connect the treads and custom metalwork fittings that are held in suspension.
The exposed edges are a prime example of AGNORA's Perfect Align Polish, in which all laminated edges are mirror polished without post-temper processing, ensuring optimum strength and integrity for each and every structural component.
