Beautiful, one-of-a-kind, gorgeous and strong (you might think that we have a crush!) but these are the words we use to describe the Port of Montreal Tower.

The majestic tower rises from the grounds of the former Alexandra Pier and showcases the transformation of the Grand Quay, better balancing the needs of shipping and tourism.

As far back as 2019, AGNORA was integrated into the project. The scope of work quickly ballooned to include the entirety of the iconic tower. Why? Because of AGNORA’s unique ability to produce:

• Oversized architectural glass with panels up to 102” x 145”
• Custom grey secondary silicone to increase joint rigidity to combat the high wind strain
• IGU construction that endures up to 42-63 PSF wind loads
• Managed, sequential shipments and dedicated, knowledgeable PM teams
• Saint-Gobain Cool-lite Xtreme 70/33 on Diamant to maximize comfort and durability
• Pilkington OptiWhite for optimal low-iron colour neutrality

The results speak for themselves. This custom curtain-wall project fits well within AGNORA’s unique capability set and we couldn’t be more thrilled.
Stay tuned for “The Cage” – the first all-glass supported experience.
